The 2024 Holiday in Charente-Maritime, France 3

 

 This time we decided to stay in

La Roche Bernard for 2 nights.

今回はラ・ロッシュ＝ベルナールに

2泊した。

I had a freshly cooked crêpe for 

breakfast for the first morning.

1泊目の翌日の朝食には

焼きたてのクレープを食べた。

We wandered around

near the sea in the morning in the rain.

午前中は雨の中を

港の近くを散歩した。

There are a few new shops

which didn't exist 2 years ago.

2年前にはなかった

新しい店も何軒か見つけた。

A Japanese Restaurant.

日本料理店。

A baguette vending machine.

バゲットの自動販売機。

I wanted to go to my favourite shop again,

but unfortunately it was closed

due to the owner's surgery.

I hope she'll get better soon.

この街のお気に入りの手芸店に

行きたかったのだが、

残念ながらオーナーさんが

手術を受けるために

閉まっていた。

迅速な回復をお祈りしています。

昼食のピザを食べた。

Had a pizza for lunch at the sea front.

After lunch, my husband insisted to go on

kayaking with Benji

(we brought a kayak from Dublin!)

at the harbour.

So I went back to the hotel.

昼食後、夫がベンジーと

港周辺をカヤックで色々探索したい

と言い出した。

（ダブリンからカヤックを持って来ている！）

私は夫とベンジーを残して

一人でホテルに戻った。

They came home safely, very wet😅

二人はすごく濡れた状態でホテルに

戻ってきた。

Before dinner, my husband and Benji

went out on foot to do some

Geocaching.

その後夕食前に、夫とベンジーは

ジオキャッシングに行くと

言って徒歩で出かけて行った。

Then after a long time,

I got a message from my husband, saying

"Collect us by car!".

かなり時間が経ってから

夫から携帯にメッセージが届いた。

「車で迎えに来て！」

He got carried away and went too far,

making Benji walk on a scary high bridge.

He held Benji and walked half way.

どうやら夢中になりすぎて

夫は遠くまで歩きすぎたようだ。

その上、怖い橋を

無理やりベンジーにも渡らせたらしい。

（途中で夫が抱っこして渡ったそうだ。）

As the hotel restaurant was closed

on that day, we had dinner at 

Crêperie La Sarrasine,

which we used 5 years ago and

also 2 years ago.

その日はホテルのレストランが

閉まっていたので、

夕食には5年前、そして2年前と同じ

クレープレストラン

Crêperie La Sarrasineで食べた。
