Today was a beach day.
It didn't rain at all for the first time
during this holiday so far.
今日はビーチデイだった。
今回の旅行で初めて
雨が全く降らない1日になった。
First, we drove to Colleville-sur-Mer.
Our plan is to charge the car
while relaxing on the beach.
However, the charger didn't work!
So we decided to drive to Vierville-sur-Mer.
まず、コルヴィル＝シュル＝メールに行った。
ビーチでのんびりしている間に
この駐車場で車を充電する計画だった。
しかし、充電器が使えない！
計画を変更し、ヴィエルヴィル＝シュル＝メールに
行くことになった。
Vierville-sur-Mer is famous for
D-Day Landings during
the Second World War.
For that reason,
there were a lot of tourists on the beach.
ヴィエルヴィル＝シュル＝メールは、
第二次世界大戦中に
ノルマンディー上陸作戦の舞台となった
ビーチであり、そのせいで
たくさんの観光客で賑わっていた。

ガイド付きツアーの団体が何組もいた。
My husband and Benji had a swim,
but I didn't.
Instead, I knitted on the beach.
夫とベンジーは海で泳いだが、
私は泳がないで、
ビーチで編み物をした。
It was the happiest time on this holiday.
Warm & sunny.
That's what I want😀
今回の旅行で1番幸せなひと時であった。
暖かくていいお天気。
それがあれば私は幸せだ😀
After lunch we drove to Cricqueville-en-Bessin.
昼食後はクリックヴィル＝アン＝ベッサンに行った。
For dinner, we went to La Trinquette.
It's a dog friendly restaurant.
夕食にはLa Trinquetteという
レストランに行った。
犬も入れるレストランだ。
The food was very good.
I'd like to come again.
美味しかった。
また来たい。
I had to drive home
as my husband had some wine.
夫はワインを飲んだので
食後は私が運転して帰宅した。
