We decided to do a long drive today,
before the planned "Blockage" on the 10th.
First we went to Honfleur.
今日は長距離運転で遠いところに行くことにした。
10日に予定されている道路封鎖の前に
高速道路を使おうという計画である。
まず、ノルマンディのカルバドス県の
最東にあるオンフルールに行った。
I liked the place a lot.
Very lively with a lot of tourists.
とても気に入った。
観光客で賑わっていて活気がある。
Bought a sandwich and
ate it near a harbour for lunch.
昼食用にサンドウィッチを買って
波止場の近くで食べた。
Then we crossed Pont de Normandie
and went to Le Havre.
It's the biggest town in Normandy.
There are so many impressive buildings.
Very different from Honfleur.
その後ノルマンディー橋を渡って
ル・アーブルに行った。
ノルマンディーで1番大きな街だ。
戦後新しく建てられたコンクリートの
建物が不思議にも美しかった。
オンフルールとは全く違っている。

After walking around the city
for Geocaching for a while,
I started to have a headache again.
So we decided to have a tea break.
That was a great idea.
ジオキャッシングをしながら
街を歩いていたら、
私はまたまた頭痛に悩まされ始めた。
カフェで休憩することにした。
これはとてもいい考えだった。
I wonder if I'm suffering
from long Covid....
この頭痛はもしかして
コロナの後遺症なのかも...。
Then my husband wanted to do
Geocaching in a different department.
So we went to Eure department,
right beside Calvados department.
そして夫がノルマンディの
今までに行ったことのない県で
ジオキャッシングをしたいと言い出したので、
カルヴァドス県のすぐ隣のウール県に行った。
On our way home, we stopped at a placed called
Pont-l'Évêque, and had a nice pizza
for dinner at an Italian restaurant.
帰宅途中にポン・レヴェックという街に寄って
美味しいピザを夕食に頂いた。
At home, I had to a bit of work.
帰宅後、少し仕事をした。
