Today was UNESCO World Heritage day for us.
There are 2 sites not very far from
where we were staying.
One of them is in Braga,
Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte.
この日はユネスコ世界遺産の日にした。
宿の近くには2つの世界遺産がある。
そのうちの一つがブラガにある
ボン・ジェズス・ド・モンテ聖域だ。
We used the oldest funicular in the world
moved by water balancing
to go to the hilltop.
丘を登るのに使ったケーブルカーは
水力で稼動する世界最古の
ケーブルカーだそうだ。

The other UNESCO site is
the Historic Centre of Guimarães.
もう一つのユネスコ世界遺産は
ギマランイス歴史地区だ。

After this, we visited the outlet of
the Portuguese towel company
The accommodation we were staying
had this company's towels,
and I thought they were lovely.
この後、ポルトガルのタオルの会社

アウトレットショップを訪れた。
滞在中の宿にこの会社のタオルがあり
ふかふかでとてもいい感じなので
欲しくなったのだ。
